Hafnia is proud to announce its recognition at the Mission to Seafarers Awards 2025.
Following an extensive jury review of all nominations, Claire Frances Faustina Vonokula from the Hafnia fleet was shortlisted in the Cadet of the Year category. Chief Officer Laarni Grace Reyes Pangilinan was shortlisted in the flagship Seafarer of the Year Award category. During the awards ceremony, Laarni received a “Highly Commended” award.
The Seafarers Awards, held annually in Singapore, celebrates the invaluable role played by seafarers and those who support them. Organized by the Mission to Seafarers, these awards honour the professionalism of the people who ensure the smooth functioning of global maritime trade. Each year, the judging panel reviews a large number of high-calibre nominations from across the industry, making selection in the shortlists a significant achievement in itself.
Representatives from Hafnia’s Technical and PCS teams attended the ceremony on behalf of our at-sea colleagues (who are currently sailing) to celebrate the accomplishments of the wider industry and our shortlisted candidates.
