Hafnia was represented at the 62nd National Maritime Day Celebration in Mumbai, by Capt. Suneha Gadpande, Marine and HSEQ Superintendent – at an event centered around the theme “Sustainable Shipping – Youth for Maritime Development.”
Held in the presence of key industry leaders including DG Shipping Shri Shyam Jagannathan and SCI CMD Shri B.K. Tyagi, the seminar aimed to spotlight ideas and initiatives shaping the future of maritime.
During the event, Suneha Gadpande participated in the seafarers’ program and shared perspectives on the project “Sagar Mein Samman,” which focuses on fostering respect, dignity, and inclusive career opportunities for youth in maritime.
Guided by Hafnia’s own policies, she discussed how organizational policies can serve as a guide for creating supportive, growth-oriented environments for young professionals. This was part of a broader conversation on how the industry can collaborate to ensure sustainable practices and meaningful development pathways for all.
