Peter Kolding, VP, Head of Commercial & Pools represented Hafnia at a panel discussion hosted by the Singapore Exchange Group (SGX) in Singapore, organized by The Japan Maritime Daily (JMD). The session, titled “Navigating Turbulent Waters in the Shipping Industry,” provided a platform to explore the key challenges and opportunities currently shaping the maritime sector.
The panel included industry leaders from the Baltic Exchange Asia, MC Shipping Ltd, ClassNK and Tokyo Century Corporation where together they discussed pressing topics such as the green transition, the rising impact of geopolitical risks, and resilience strategies that shipping companies can adopt to navigate these turbulent times.
The session offered delegates an opportunity to additionally learn about Hafnia’s position in the tanker industry including its approach to managing pools across multiple tanker segments and procuring marine fuel via Hafnia’s joint venture with Cargill – Seascale Energy.
