Hafnia recently hosted a Mini-Induction Seminar in Istanbul, on 26 August 2025 welcoming recently recruited and newly promoted senior officers to the Hafnia team.
The Mini-Induction Seminar is designed for the recently recruited and newly promoted senior officers to understand more about Hafnia’s values, policies and operational procedures. It aimed to address any concerning questions and onboard discussions on safety and crew welfare, amongst other topics. This ensures that new seafaring members are familiarized with Hafnia’s standards and expectations.
The seminar brought together 23 officers in total – 21 newly recruited or promoted officers, alongside two highly experienced Masters and a Chief Engineer, who shared valuable perspectives.
The event featured interactions and discussions on onboard topics such as safety, crew welfare, operations and DIBE (Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity).
