Hafnia was very pleased to take part in The Diversity Study Group’s (the DSG) “Playing your Part” Annual Conference 2022.
During the conference, Hafnia CEO and Co-Chair of the All Aboard Alliance Mikael Skov made the Keynote Speech, where he urged industry leaders to join forces in addressing the challenges the maritime industry faces when it comes to diversity, equity, and inclusion. In his speech he congratulated initiatives such as the Diversity Study Group and the All Aboard Alliance in its efforts to bring key stakeholders together to tangibly make a difference.
Mia Krogslund Jørgensen, Head of People, Culture and Strategy spoke and presented in the session entitled “DEI, ESG and rapidly increasing stakeholder pressure”- where she presented developments and initiatives Hafnia is undertaking in promoting diversity onshore and at sea. Following the presentation, Mia formed a panel, joined by other renowned speakers from the international maritime industry, where various challenges and opportunities were further discussed.
The DSG Annual Conference 2022 presented the DSG Annual Review and included other topics such as the drivers and roadblocks to progress and the move from intent to action with the Inclusion Advantage.
The DSG is the first organization dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace across the global shipping and maritime sectors,- to which Hafnia is proud to be a member.
