Hafnia and MMS successfully concluded its annual Crew Conference 2025 in Gurgaon, Delhi. The conference under the theme of Reliability, Endurance and Sustainability provided a pivotal platform for strategic discussions, knowledge-sharing, and reflection, bringing together key stakeholders from across the maritime industry.
The event welcomed 42 seafarers along with 18 MMS shore staff and distinguished representatives from Hafnia and MMS Japan.
The conference commenced with a company update from Rajesh Sapre (Technical), who highlighted Hafnia’s latest incident reports, third and fourth-quarter results, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments. His analysis provided key insights into fleet performance, safety, and sustainability initiatives.
Subsequent presentations and discussions included a strong focus on fleet integrity and compliance, with a detailed overview of Owner’s Inspection Procedures and Objectives. Sustainability remained a central theme, with a presentation additionally on the industry’s responsibility in environmental stewardship, decarbonization, energy conservation, and fuel optimization as well as the transformative role of biofuels in maritime sustainability
The conference also included a comprehensive review of cargo-related incidents focusing on risk mitigation and best practices as well as feedback on the practical application of operational insights shared.
