Hafnia recently welcomed members of YoungShip Denmark to our Copenhagen office for an evening of open discussions and reflections on leadership, career development, and the evolving demands of the shipping industry.
Mia Krogslund Jørgensen, VP Head of People, Culture & Strategy at Hafnia, opened the evening with a keynote on starting a career during a period of constant disruption, highlighting why stability and clarity remain essential foundations for long-term performance in shipping.
The keynote was followed by a panel discussion featuring Peter Kolding, VP, Chartering Regional Trades & Pool Management and Peter Sebber Larsen, EVP S&P, Projects & Timecharter.
Moderated by Loukia Charalambous (Hafnia) and Mathilde Boye (Vogemann), the conversation explored decision-making under pressure, the realities of career progression, common leadership misconceptions, and the skills considered critical for long-term success in the industry.
The evening concluded with networking, food, and a Hafnia-style bingo session.
Thank you to YoungShip Denmark for their collaboration and to all the participants for their engagement during a well-attended event!
