Hafnia Collaborates with Emirates Shipping Association for its Maritime Leadership Program (MLP 2025)

Hafnia recently welcomed a delegation from the Emirates Shipping Association’s Maritime Leadership Program. The Emirates Shipping Association is a non-governmental organization that represents and promotes the interests of the maritime and shipping sector in the United Arab Emirates.

Among the delegates were representatives from ADNOC, ENOC, the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, AD Ports, Safeen, and GulfNav, among others.

The Maritime Leadership Program delegation received an introduction to Hafnia (from Clint Bout, GM, Head of Marine, Surajit Chanda, VP, Technical In-House, Shivas Kapoor, GM, Head of Crewing, Pankaj Porwal, GM, Technical Projects, James Killingworth, Pool Management, Keke Hinrichsen, Chartering, Vivian Yuan, Operations and Kasper Sørensen, GM Head of Marine Fuel Procurement (East), Seascale Energy / Hafnia Bunkers)  under the theme of: “The Future of Vessel Operations and Management, Insights into Evolving Practices and Technologies,”.

Hafnia provided the delegates with compelling reasons to pursue future opportunities throughout Hafnia’s value chain.

The visit by the Association culminated in a Closing Ceremony followed by lunch during which Mr. Ahmed Alketbi, the Deputy Ambassador and Head of Economic Affairs at the UAE Embassy in Singapore, discussed the historical, current, and future connections between the Emirate and Singapore.
