Hafnia, in collaboration with OSM Thome, successfully held its Crew Conference in Split, Croatia, from 13 – 17 October 2025.
This marks the second gathering that included Hafnia’s in-house fleet and the first conference to feature a dedicated Engine Workshop focusing on advanced technical topics.
Centred on the theme “Collaborating Towards Reliability,” the conference underlined the importance of teamwork, shared purpose, and mutual trust in driving operational excellence across all levels of the organization.
The conference opened with a remote welcome note from Hafnia CEO Mikael Skov.
Mikkel Boesen, Vice President and Head of the TECOS Fleet then opened the conference by highlighting Hafnia’s growth, commitment to learning from experience, and dedication to the company’s CARE values.
The five-day program included presentations, panel discussions, and workshops, across various technical, operational and leadership topics engaging over 120 participants, including onshore staff and maritime experts.
During the gala dinner, Hafnia and OSM Thome recognized seafarers celebrating 10 years of service. Beyond formal sessions, attendees further enjoyed networking and team-building activities across Split.
The event concluded on an optimistic note, reinforcing the partnership between OSM Thome and Hafnia and emphasizing a shared commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous collaboration.
