Danny Lange Appointed President of Hafnia's Joint-Venture - Complexio

London, 1st October 2025 Complexio, (the joint venture between Hafnia and Simbolo, in partnership with Marfin Management, C Transport Maritime, Trans Sea Transport and BW Epic Kosan) has announced the appointment of Danny Lange as its new President, bringing decades of leadership experience in artificial intelligence and enterprise technology to the company.

Danny Lange has previously led Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning efforts at tech giants Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Uber, Unity, and IBM, holding the responsibility of building large-scale platforms and embedding AI into core business operations.

Complexio provides enterprises with the missing context layer: a system that understands how a business truly operates and uses that understanding to drive reliable execution. Through its Event Knowledge Graph (EKG), Complexio maps organizational activity across systems, people, and processes. Its Automated Automations Engine (AAE) then uses this context to generate and orchestrate workflows – either natively or by enabling other AI platforms to execute more effectively. This allows enterprises to automate the long tail of tasks that are too fragmented or complex for traditional tools, unlocking measurable efficiency, resilience, and return on investment.

“Complexio has solved the hardest problem in enterprise AI – understanding how a business truly operates. The Event Knowledge Graph provides the context that every other system lacks, enabling automation that is accurate, scalable, and trustworthy. With this foundation, enterprises can finally move beyond pilots and fragmented AI solutions to measurable transformation at scale,” says Danny Lange, President of Complexio.

“It is a privilege to welcome someone of Danny’s caliber to Complexio. He has consistently been at the forefront of embedding AI into the fabric of the enterprise, and his experience will be invaluable as we scale. Danny understands, as we do, that the future of AI in business is about building a deep understanding of how organizations actually work. With his leadership, we can accelerate our mission to turn that understanding into measurable outcomes for enterprises worldwide.” says Matthew Talbot, co-CEO of Complexio.

“We are delighted that Danny Lange, a true AI visionary and pioneer, has joined Complexio. His expertise will be instrumental in setting a new standard for how AI is deployed at the enterprise level and in accelerating our joint venture to significantly reduce the time our workforce spends on recurring tasks. Complexio’s unique ability to understand how a business operates and to autonomously discover and automate routine work enables us to focus on the strategic initiatives that drive our competitive edge. To this, Danny’s background leading AI at major tech brands will bring an innovative perspective to this journey,” said Mikael Skov, CEO and Søren Steenberg Jensen, EVP, Head of Asset Management at Hafnia.
